I create landscapes mainly of coastal sunrises and sunsets,
seeing them as symbols of life and death,
natural erosion and regeneration and the passing of time.
These landscapes I create could possibly survive as long,
if not longer than the actual landscapes i am representing.
I see the clay I use as part of the landscape,
originally being from the landscape, I'm creating a new landscape with it.
